During the test shave, there was no pulling & no need to go over the same spot over & over again. It’s not loud at all, claims to run about an hour on a full charge (so far, I believe it will) & can be used both wet & dry. I’ve used it first to try it out in my underarms,I did this dry without anything on the skin , admittedly not the best of ideas I should have just kept reading the manual and followed those instructions!However the armpit in question around two hours after the fact , I have smooth skin and no bumps or burns and I had to go over that baby a few times to get everything done I wanted to give it a real test to see how well it worked!! I’m very satisfied with the results!!!

I think this is perfectly shaped to hold in either hand it’s definitely a durable model made with quality materials just from how heavy it is alone you can tell that!!It’s shape gives you a very comfortable ease of motion to get all angles that you’d need to get !! Boy howdy some of those angles are hard to reach !!!Normally I would buy the men’s top of the line semi disposable razors those do get quite pricey since replacing the heads can cost upwards of five $ a unit . I decided to try it on my bikini line too – still hurts but it’s barable. This is by far the best thing to use if you can’t stand the razors. I never tried any electrical shaver and the first time was long and painful, but now, 5 day with minimum hair, I’ve used it again and God, how stupid I was for not using it sooner. As for the machine, it does a great job. I’ve never used any other brand, so this is ok for me. It won’t take hairs from the first run but the second time it’ll take you about 5-10 min to freshen up. This is the first time I’ve used this brand or one with two heads and it barely hurts. Normally I would avoid it at that special time of the month but decided to try it out and I barely felt it. Took 2 seconds to do my under arms which didn’t hurt like usual and it got every hair so I didn’t have to go back over it with a pair of tweezers. I love this epilator. It works really well both wet and dry. I prefer to use it dry with a bit of baby powder on the skin. I use it once a week to maintain a smooth finish. It’s great not having to leave the hair to grow like you need to for waxing.The battery power is good and the low battery warning light comes on when it still has enough power to keep going for a little while, so you don’t end up with a job half done.It’s not a pain free experience but in my opinion this doesn’t hurt as much as waxing.

I’ve never epilated before so was a bit wary but was pleasantly surprised. It had some charge when it arrived but I plugged it in and the charging light went off really quickly to tell me it was fully charged. I tried the epilator on my legs in the bath, using the gentle guard as it was my first time. Apart from a little stinging sensation it really wasn’t that painful. Perhaps more so on the less fleshy parts of my legs but still totally manageable. The light was really helpful for seeing any stray hairs I’d missed and I found it really simple to operate and hold. My legs feel really smooth – wish I’d tried it sooner!

I have been using epilators for years and this is the best I’ve ever used.This epilator can be used effectively wet or dry. I have found it faster and more efficient than my previous models and I like the pivoting head. I found it good for underarms – the head worked with the curves of the underarms, but I would suggest using the soft option of speed! The soft option is a good option if you are new to epilating. The shaver is okay, however I did not buy the smooth glide epilator for the shaver. As a cordless model there was more than enough power to do both legs, arms and underarms, I am interested to see if it will remain this efficient thoughout the models lifespan. The manual suggests that it has a lifespan of 3years It is certainly a product I would recommend

I’ve put off purchasing an epilator for years as I’d assumed they were more an instrument of torture than a beauty aid. However, Covid19 lockdown and the fear of looking like a Wookie by the end of it made me take the plunge.The michpong ES-ED53 is excellent value for money and works a treat! I started on the soft setting and apart from a tiny bit of discomfort that was neither stinging nor pinching and yet a bit like both, it was more than bearable. If you’ve ever waxed then this certainly won’t seem any worse and my skin was left smooth and hair free.I’ve tried it on legs and bikini area so far and am very pleased with result.I’ve only had it on dry setting and use it after a shower. I’ll probably give it a go on wet setting at some point but Very satisfied with it so far.

I don’t give reviews normally but this was such a great epilator for women i had to leave feedback! firstly I’ve never used an epliator before – but did a bit of research and was going to buy the much more costly Braun. Then I came across the michpong – liked the reviews so took the plunge. I have to say it’s delight to use and my skin is as smooth as silk. I’ve even ( very carefully achieved an extensive bikini job and again so smooth and so much easier than wax strips – Never again. People say it’s a bit painful – I a tough bird so it prickles – so worth it. Also saves you a small fortune in salon costs ( I know it’s nice to be pampered sometimes ) but my grip was it was never really as smooth as I expected. Now thats a thing of the past – facials only at the beauty parlour from now on….

I own this epilator more than 2 years now and I am more than satisfied. If epilating is your thing, then this device has been carefully designed to make your life easier. Using it when showering or bathing … genius! Saves tones of time and pain, I can use it every other day and keep on top of things. The rest of the features like 2 speeds and the light are all very practical and well thought. I haven’t used the rest of the parts, but I am sure I would find them practical. Easy to clean and store, it is such a tool for me!The battery life is a bit shorter than I would have wished, but overall I am very satisfied!

This is such a great product. You can barely feel any pain, and by that I mean as a direct comparison to other epilators I have used. As you are pulling the hair from the root, it would be insane to think you’re not going to feel anything however, if you’ve waxed before, you will know that with waxing you’re feeling the pain twice as both your skin and hairs are being pulled.Overall, Very satisfied with my purchase!

I used to epilate when I was young but haven’t had the time to do so for years. No time is no excuse at the moment though, so I decided to get back into it for summer. As anyone who has epilated before knows, the first few initial goes over any area are extremely painful, so I was not looking forward to that part at all. However, the two rotating heads made the experience pretty quick, and being able to use it in the bath is a massive bonus. If you put some shower gel on the head and do it in sections it’s as close to painless as you’re going to get for an epilator. Now the first few times are done I go over quickly once or twice a week and it’s genuinely almost pain free. Much cheaper than the epilator I had previously, and so much more painless and more effective.

I was suffering really badly with shaving rash, due to COVID19 obviously unable to go to a salon to try waxing and with a limited budget I decided to give epilation a try and I was not disappointed. I placed the device on charge, took some painkillers 1 hour prior, ran a lovely warm bath by the time I was ready to get in the device was ready to go and so was I. I exfoliated the areas I wanted to remove hair and then put a layer of shower gel on. I then started mid way up my calf on soft setting to ease myself in. Once I got going I slowly started to move it across my leg as i would shaving but slightly slower to try get all the hair. I also used on my sensitive areas then when i was finished i moisturized. I did recieve some swelling but by morning it was completely gone and I was smooth as the day I was born!!… I read that you may need to initially do 2-3 times in the first week then all hair will have been caught and it will start to last a lot longer. I moisturize every day and I honestly am so happy I purchased highly recommend!

I had probably the first version of epilator and wow have they changed! The original looked like a spring that twisted around and as you rubbed it along your leg, the hairs got trapped in the spring and therefore removed. This newest version is simple to operate and clean. It still tweeses the hairs but it’s much more efficient and therefore less painful. The hair does grow back less and less the more you use it.

Really wished I’d found these kind of epilators years ago. Tried expensive Braun, and found them to be noisy, and painful. These lovely little machines are quiet and relatively painless. Stung a little on first use, but after that, I can honestly say that it doesn’t bother me at all now. So this epilator works, but it will for sure make your eyes water. The sting reminds me of the zaps you get during lazer hair removal. It’s more uncomfortable than waxing but only because it takes longer, but way more efficient than plucking. This type of product is most likely going to cause pain so it’s what you should expect. The result is the hair staying away longer than if you just shaved and I think it’s worth it. You can lessen the pain by taking a cold shower first or just applying ice to the area.

I have used this epilator for women for about 4 days now and seems to be working. I’ve tried it on my legs and chin. Hair is definitely removed. It doesn’t hurt – maybe a little sensitive afterwards on my face for a few minutes. Definitely worthwhile purchase and other than feeling like I’m shaving my face like my husband, I quite like it.

this epilator for women works great to remove pesky and unsightly facial hair. But it takes some getting used to just like plucking your eyebrows! It’s a bit noisy, which I guess you’d expect from a shaver—but this really isn’t a shaver, it’s a “plucker!” Nine tweezer-like thingys operate in unison to clean up those hairs and it does a great job. I’m glad I bought This epilator.

This removes facial hair perfectly. I’ve had it for about 3 months and I’ve only had to use it once for facial hair around the chin and neck area. Hair is taking a while to grow back, which is a good thing. These are little random hairs that usually grow overnight; however, the device deeply pulls the hair so that it doesn’t grow back quickly.

As a person with less than perfect vision, I always found it difficult to remove facial hairs with a regular tweezer. This epilator works easily to do the job perfectly. It doesn’t hurt any more than a manual tweezer and doesn’t irritate the skin. I should have bought one of these years ago. Haven’t had it long enough to know about lasting qualities but, for now, it is excellent.

It does a good job removing pretty much most the face hair. It may not pick up a few hairs growing crazy that even with twizzers are though to get. I love mine use it on neck chin face, forhead and around eyebrows. I had to figure out the angle for it to work right. None irritating a little pink after use that goes away after 30 min or so. Be careful with lose skin, stretch skin to remove hair it may pinch it otherwise. I love mine!

Received the epilator today. Delivery was quicker than it said it would be, so very nice for me. Charged it up and followed instructions for how to use it. Very simple and worked really good. I put witch hazel on , after washing my face and that was a big help. No pain so far. Very easy to handle, size was slender and happy it is rechargeable. No more shaving and that’s the best part.

This was my first ever using an Epilator. It suggests to start with an area on your body with light hair. So I did my arms. It left red bumps, but they went away 45mins after use. The manual does state that this will occur and maybe for the first couple uses until you’re use to it. It’s no different then tweezing. It hurt a little but not too much or I wouldn’t be giving it 5 stars. If you are looking a better way to remove unwanted hair, this is it. It was super fast as well!

Yea, it hurts, but I feel it’s much better than trying to wax myself and shaving has to be done daily. Okay so this epilator hurts the first time you use it. It made me wince and brought a little tear to my eye. I was able to get through it though. I would say it is similar to waxing only somehow holding a machine in my hand is a little different than just ripping a strip off quickly. It’s definitely effective. It is better to go slow rather than fast so you make sure you get all of the hairs and don’t have to go over the same area twice while your skin is tender. It is going to take some getting used to but I am happy I bought it

Just arrived today. Only thing different than what is on the box and pictured on site was the power cord. My cord is straight instead of curly. However, it was charged so I used it anyway. Wow! I have the fine and course hair due to the stupid thyroid conditions, pituitary, asthma and just going to older age. Do not press down hard on face. I was utterly amazed that when I cleaned it you could see the hairs that were really pulled out of the root, no straight, cut off hairs! I am very pleased with the results of using this epilator for women. No more having to remove chin hairs on a daily basis! Is using This epilator painful? Well the hairs are being pulled out by the root, so yeah you feel it. The first day I used it very briefly, the experience was not pleasant! I did however keep at it, using it on my skin a few times a day in small amounts of time. Now I use it without difficulty and it is not painful. The soomth glide epilator works great! Some areas around my chin have taken more time because of awkward hair angles. The rest of my chin has been smooth for weeks!!

First off, i am someone who deals with PCOS and at my most recent gyno appointment i discussed with my doctor about options to deal with my excessive facial hair. My facial hair is so excessive that nightly i would spend an hour plucking and then shaving what i couldn’t pluck. causing discoloration and ingrown hairs galore. I don’t have much facial hair, but the little I do have comes off nicely and the skin feels smooth afterward.Of course not every little hair comes off, but it does a great job.I read reviews saying it was really painful and have to disagree – it is NOT painful at all! Even in more sensitive areas like the upper lip. Maybe because I don’t have too much hair, but I am very sensitive and my pain tolerance level is very low.I am used to epilation systems as I have had an epilady for legs for years, and really like it.Because of my skin sensitivity I have to be more careful about going over the same spot for too long. Oh my goodness. As a Black woman I can’t explain how grateful I am to finally find a tool that actually works to remove these thick, annoying chin hairs that have started to turn grey. I’ve tried creams. Worse breakout ever. I’ve even tried both electric shavers and facial razors. Stubble within a few hours and left with the dark shadow. But now I can’t stop touching my face. It’s sooo soft and no stubble at all and it’s the next day. Now it did hurt like a mofo at first but I would definitely do it again in a heartbeat. At first I didn’t think that it worked. it does what it’s supposed to. I bought it for my underarms since I’ll be wearing strapless dresses for a few weddings and I’ve never been satisfied with how shaving makes them look. I can’t stand missed spots, nicks, stubble, and dark follicles under the skin you can still see. This takes care of that problem for me! I just tried it so we’ll see how long the hair stays away, but for a day, it works perfectly.

is it feels similar to getting a mini tattoo or something. I use it on my lower half of face, stomach, and parts of my back that I can reach. I tried it on legs and bikini line once, and thought I was going to die~ way too painful! Seriously, I’d rather wax, but have reactions to that most of the time too. It is similar to waxing though in the fact that it takes about 2 weeks for the hair to grow back. It takes awhile to the get the hang of the angle to hold it. I actually took the cover part off to get closer to the skin. It may leave the skin kind of red and rashy looking for maybe a day or so

this epilator for women really works. Throw out the razor, and hair removal lotions. This “tweezes” those pesky hairs out by the roots. You can actually see the root at the end of those short, tweezed hairs when you clean it after with the brush they provide. Keeping it clean is a must for it to work best and running it in different directions to catch those pesky hairs is a must. Don’t hesitate to buy this epilator for women. It really works!!!

This epilator works! It is very simple to operate, no more sore hands. I still have to pluck after use, but only 1-2 hairs! And all the other products promised the hair wouldn’t grow back as quickly or thickly as before. Well, it is finally happening with this MICHPONG appliance. I can’t speak on longevity of this as I just received this is past week. I’ve been dealing with really thick hair on my jaw, cheeks, chin, and under my chin since high school. I’ve been having to shave everyday since it’s not ideal for me to wax due to having to have the hair grown for 2 plus weeks before I can successfully wax. This is amazing. I’m just one week I was able to get all the problem areas from the root. I touch my face and I feel no stable. Utterly amazed. Would 100% recommend.I would be careful around lose skin and not press it on your skin harshly. I haven’t nicked myself however just someone I’d be on the lookout for.

If you want precision type of getting rid of hair, mostly down there, GET THIS! The size is just perfect and actually removes the hairs. Just need to angle it perfectly, and viola! It’s like you went to get your hair waxed. I was using the Philips one but it was too big and too much of the tweezer bits that it is having a hard time picking up hair due to the area/shape. this epilator gets the job well done.Just don’t forget to clean/brush the hair out so if won’t clog the epilator

You know when it’s working, as you can feel the slight tingle of the hairs being removed. It definitely is easier than using a single tweezer, and does a better and quicker job. I’m sure there’s better ones out there, but for the price range, this does what I hoped it would.

I was able to do my whole body; legs, armpits, and my entire arms in about 15 minutes. The result of my skin after I used it 7 days ago in my legs and armpit is by far better than shaving. Normally when I shave, 3 days after I can feel my skin like that of a chicken skin. With this epilator, it has better results, my skin is smooth. However, I expect it will grow for a couple of weeks. So probably I will use it once every 3 to 4 weeks, depends on the hair growth. I am giving it a 5 as I am satisfied.
